On December 15 and 16, 2025, the 1st Gotion-Slovakia Forum on Batteries took place at the Center for the Utilization of Advanced Materials of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (CEMEA) in Patrónka. The event was attended by representatives of Gotion (Steve Cai, Guannan Zhu), the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic (V. Šimoňák), the Slovak Academy of Sciences (Chairman M. Venhart, Director of CEMEA M. Hnatko, Pavol Šajgalík, CEMEA SAV, and others), as well as the companies Inobat and Gotion Inobat Battery (P. Krokoš).
The Forum featured presentations on research conducted at Gotion, Y-Lab, Inobat, CEMEA SAV, and the universities STU in Bratislava and UPJŠ in Košice. The purpose of the event was to learn about research in the field of batteries and identify research topics for future cooperation. The Forum was full of discussions and provided a good basis for future cooperation.
