The L’Oréal – UNESCO For Women in Science Programme is opening its 10th anniversary edition, inviting women researchers with a PhD under the age of 40 working at Slovak research institutions to participate.
Three laureates will receive financial support totaling €21,000 to further develop their research, careers, and personal growth.
📊 Although women represent a significant part of the scientific community in Europe, their representation in research and engineering remains low. In Slovakia, women make up only 34.3% of professionals in science and engineering, one of the lowest shares in the EU. This is why creating spaces where women’s scientific achievements are visible, valued, and supported truly matters.
🔬 Awards will be granted in three categories:
Engineering sciences and technologies
Life sciences
Physical and formal sciences
