Project is complemenetary to the project of the call  H2020 WIDESPREAD-1-2014-Teaming – Building-up Centre of Excellence for advanced materials application CEMEA, No. 664337 which was awarded by the Seal of excellence and recommended for national funding.

The main aim of the project is to establish in SAS a new organization Centre for advanced materials application SAS as a centre for high quality independent research focused on the modification of surfaces and interfaces in order to achieve new functionalities of structures and devices in the field of advanced nanomaterials, sustainable energy and biomedicine.

In particular, research of low-dimensional nanomaterials, new composites and layered structures with novel or improved properties interesting for potential applications are subject of interest.
